The Green Living Areas Mission of the Interreg EUROMED programme aims to improve the lives of Mediterranean citizens by promoting the development of green living areas. The Mission undertakes projects that bring local communities to life with green development at their epicentre, reducing negative climate impacts on the region’s ecosystems, and enhancing climate resilience.
The Mission is jointly managed by two strategic projects working on two different aspects:
- The Thematic Community project aims to build a community among thematic projects and facilitate resource transfers to stakeholders, focusing on technical and strategic content (C4LA)
- The Institutional Dialogue project aims to amplify the transfer of policies by fostering focused dialogue among policymakers and their stakeholders, focusing on policy improvement and transformation (D4LA)
The C4LA project is composed by 8 partners and coordinated by Scientific Research Centre Bistra Ptuj, whereas the D4LA project includes 9 partners and is led by Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis / Euromed Cities Network.
ENVIPARK’S ROLE
Envipark is the leader of the REUSE work package of the C4LA project, aiming to obtain a set of transferable and replicable tools and outcomes from the thematic projects, to be used in the further phases. To do that, we intend to create a strong community with synergies and cooperation among the projects and actors, and to set a clear common direction supporting the transformation of Mediterranean territories into resilient Green Living Areas.
Envipark will participate to all the C4LA project activities including the organisation of training sessions, events, workshops and living labs at EU and Local level. Stay tuned !
