HYPOP participated in the European Hydrogen Week 2024 in Brussels, an event that brought together experts, policymakers, and innovators to advance the hydrogen economy. HYPOP highlighted its mission to raise the social acceptability of hydrogen and shared its progress with the international community. Two of the best moments during the week were:
- Workshop (November 19th):
HYPOP hosted a workshop titled “Hydrogen Mobility and Residential Applications: Safety and Permitting Approaches Around Europe”. Experts from across Europe discussed challenges and best practices for hydrogen installations. Key ideas included collaborating with institutions on regulations, using demonstration events to engage citizens, and building on existing infrastructure to ensure sustainable growth. - Presentation (November 20th):
At the EU Project Pavilion, HYPOP’s Coordinator, Dr. Ilaria Schiavi, presented the project’s goals, achievements, and upcoming activities, emphasizing the importance of public engagement in hydrogen adoption.
