MC0 – Mission Carb 0 is a project co-financed by the INTERREG ALCOTRA programme, under the “New Challenges” call, and meets the specific objective of “developing skills for smart specialisation, industrial transition and entrepreneurship”. It has a duration of 3 years and a total value of € 1 950 350, of which 80% financed by FESR funds.
The project aims to help achieve the goal of decarbonisation of the ALCOTRA cross-border territory, which is characterized by a high level of CO2 emissions mainly from industrial areas. Through cross-border cooperation between France and Italy, MC0 will support the energy transition of industrial enterprises through the sharing of methodologies, good practices and technological solutions enabling a process of decarbonisation to be initiated and strengthening the capacity for innovation and action of enterprises. The project intends to test the process of decarbonisation on strategic sectors of the ALCOTRA area, in particular that of Fine Chemistry/Aromas and Perfumes, Mechatronics, Agro-Food and Mountain. The results of the experiments can then be used in each of the territories thanks to the common knowledge base that will be created.
OUR ROLE
Environment Park is a partner of the MC0 project, coordinated by the Chambre de commerce et d’Industrie Nice Côte d’Azur, together with the Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture of Cuneo, Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Turin, Centro Servizi Industrie Srl, M.I.A.C. Scpa, Confindustria Cuneo -Unione industriale della provincia per l’area italiana, and in Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de la Savoie, AMVALOR, Cluster Montagne, and risingSUD, for the French area.
Envipark will be mainly involved in the accompanying activities of manufacturing companies through individual meetings, where dedicated visits will be carried out, and in carrying out collective accompanying actions of companies, where possible collective actions based on mutualisation and collaboration could support the achievement of better levels of decarbonisation.
